Yesterday was a kind of milestone, as far as I can tell. It was the first time I saw anything like this:
It’s just one data point… but we’re moving from a world where people are pleasantly surprised to be heard and replied to by brands in social networks to one – at least in certain categories – where people are pissed if you’re not listening.
The implications of this are profound, I think. How far off is the tipping point?

I think the major issues for companies is that there aren’t many (any?) Apps that are built yet for them to manage their social footprint. Just as it took apps to bring crm to im and email, so too will it take apps to bring social networks on line.
